Heather and Chandler
Heather and Chandler adopted twin girls and a baby boy in 2008 and 2010 respectively. Here is their story.
I think that the biggest obstacle in the adoption process was not receiving the support and advice I needed during the difficult times in the process.
Prior to working with Erin we spent over two years and experienced a number of fall throughs with another agency. It wasn’t until we started working with Erin that I felt like someone was actually on our side.
I spent countless hours researching various adoption firms prior to working with Erin. I knew that I had found the right person after my first phone call with Erin. I had lots of hard questions and I was very pleased with her confidence and abilities.
We actually used Erin for two consecutive adoptions. It was the same birthmother with both adoptions. Erin did an excellent job of balancing our needs and her needs. We were able to take care of the birthmother's needs without feeling taken advantage of. Erin acted in the best interest of both parties. We were able to maintain a great bond with the birth parents.
Jenn and Erin's knowledge of the adoption process nationwide is invaluable. There are a lot of variations in adoption law from state to state. I believe that their knowledge of of different state laws leads to more successful adoptions.
I think that it is invaluable that both Jenn and Erin are adoptive mothers. I think it is very comforting to know that they truly understand the joy and struggles of adoption. There can be a whirlwind of emotions and it’s nice to turn to someone with experience.
